No two smiles are the same, and your new tooth should reflect that. We work closely with our talented dental technician who crafts a custom crown to fit beautifully over your implant. Using detailed diagnostic information, like the shape, size, and shade of your natural teeth, we ensure your new crown blends in seamlessly, as if it’s been there as a natural part of your smile all along.
During your initial consultation, we can answer all the questions you have about implant treatment and discuss what you hope to achieve through treatment. We will carry out an examination of your oral structures and existing dental work and create a fully costed treatment plan that meets your expectations and needs.
Your implant is placed under local anaesthetic. Your dentist will fully brief you on what to expect in the weeks prior to implant placement, but we will go through this with you again on the day of placement.
Your jaw will take approximately 3-6 months to heal following implant placement. During this time, we will ask you to come in for check-ups, just to make sure everything is healing smoothly.
Your new crown: Once your jaw has healed, your new crown can be placed over the top of the implant.

Dental implants are suitable for adults of any age, but it’s paramount that your oral health is sound prior to treatment. If you live with a condition that can potentially slow healing (such as diabetes), or you are a smoker, you may be unsuitable for treatment at present. Healthy bone density is also a prerequisite for getting an implant.
Your dentist will be able to assess your suitability for treatment during a consultation. If you have previously been rejected for implants in the past, we may be able to refer you for a bone graft to create new bone.
Our dentists use the latest techniques to administer local anaesthetics before your implant placement. Most people experience very little pain and consider the benefits to vastly outweigh any discomfort experienced.
